How It Works

  2. After Uploading your documents, complete the purchase process on FAANGME.

  3. I’ll review your resume like I would a candidate applying for a role in my org.

  4. I will then markup necessary changes, and provide a summary of my thoughts and suggestions. You will receive actionable feedback that improves your resume, and your chances of getting an interview. Examples of feedback are…

  5. You’ll receive feedback within 72 hours (unless you paid for expedited review, in which case you’ll hear back in 24 hours or less).

  • Cover Letter - I will read the entirety of your cover letter and provide feedback similar to your resume with regards to relevance, structure, grammar, and effectiveness.

    Job Listing Alignment - If you provide a link to the job listing you intend to apply to with your resume, I can review your resume through the perspective of the listing, to ensure your resume is optimized for that particular role.

    Expedited Review - Typical turnaround time is 72 hours for a review. If you need a review in less than 24 hours, select this add-on.

    Extended Resume - If your resume is 2 pages or longer, make sure you select this add-on to ensure I review your entire resume.

  • Yes! Feel free to email me your resume directly. steve@faangme.com . Include your name and preferred email, along with the attached .pdf of your resume and I will review it within 72 hours of receiving payment for the review package you want!

  • Misspellings, poor grammar, and role descriptions that have no relevance to the job being applied to.

  • If I review your resume and feel that I am unable to provide you actionable feedback, I will refund your payment and send you an email summarizing the decision. At that point it’s up to the Employment Gods to determine your fate.

  • Yes! And we can even review your resume in the context of a particular job you are after.  Just select the cover letter or job add-ons to get that covered!

  • Your resume goes to my inbox where I open it up and do a quick 10m review of it.  I then add any necessary feedback or suggestions, and email it back with my markups and high level guidance to the email address you provided.

  • I’ve worked in FAANG companies for over 12 years, as a Lead for 2 and a Manager for 5.  I’ve interviewed hundreds of candidates and reviewed thousands of resumes over the course of my career.

  • I will aim to respond to all submissions within 72 hours. If you are interested in an expedited review, which means getting your feedback in less than 24 hours, you can select “expedited feedback” as an add-on.

  • If it’s been more than 72 hours since you submitted your resume and I haven’t gotten back to you with feedback, please ensure you have steve@faangme.com on your permitted email addresses.  If you’ve done that and still can’t find a reply, please contact me at the above email address and we will get this resolved ASAP.

  • Typically my focus is on SWE roles - spanning CV, AI/ML, QA, Data, Cloud, Apps, Embedded Systems, Security, and DevOps. I have also been very involved in interview cycles for PMs, PMMs, and UI/UX Engineers. Regardless of what your focus is though, I’m happy to provide feedback. If I’m unable to provide actionable feedback, we’ll refund your payment.

  • If I determine that I can’t provide any value to your resume, I will refund your purchase within 72 hours of your order being placed.
